Do Not Dispose Of Sanitary

UNIVERSAL PASSION FOR GOD'S PRESENCE OR

Preaching: Sunday April 22, 2007. Pastor Joshua Rodriguez

7 A Jehovah's presence the earth quakes,
In the presence of the God of Jacob,
8 Who turned the hard rock in a pool of water
source of water and rock.
(Psalm 114: 7-8)

13 Now therefore, if I find favor in your sight, please show me now thy way, you know, may find favor in your eyes, and look these people are your people.
(Exodus 33: 13)

3 Say, Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Return unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will return to you saith the LORD of hosts.
(Zechariah 1:3)

16 But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.
(Revelation 3:16)

YOU WERE CREATED TO EXPRESS THE GLORY OF GOD!

Adam before he fell into sin had a close communication with God and was more than a friend, his beloved son.

19 The LORD God formed, the earth all the beasts of the field and every bird of the heavens, and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them and whatever Adam called each living, that's his name.
(Genesis 2:19)

Abraham was a faithful servant of God, until we have the privilege of being considered a friend of God:
1 Abram was ninety-nine, when he appeared Lord and said: I am God Almighty; walk before Me and be blameless.
2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and multiply you greatly.
3 Then Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying:
4 Behold my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be the father of many nations.
5 and no more be called your name Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham, I have made you a father of many nations.
6 And I will greatly multiply, and make nations of thee, and kings shall come from you.
7 I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be your God and your descendants after you.

(Genesis 17: 1-7)

Moses had the privilege of talking face to face with God and have the parcel release God's people from slavery in Egypt.
7 The Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; because I know their sufferings, 8 and I
down to deliver the hand of the Egyptians and bring them out of that land unto a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey, the place of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites , Perizzites, Hivites and the Jebusites. (...)
11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I to go to Pharaoh, and out of Egypt to the children of Israel?
12 And he said, Go, for I am with you, and this will be the sign that I have sent you: when you're out of Egypt to the people, serve God upon this mountain.
(Exodus 3: 7-8, 11-12)

10 Then Moses said the Lord: Oh, Lord! I have never been eloquent, neither before nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.
11 And Jehovah said, "Who gave man his mouth? Or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or seeing or blind? Am I not the Lord?
12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shalt say.
(Exodus 4: 10-12)

1 The Lord said to Moses: Now watch what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand will go, and with a strong hand out of his land. God spake
2 Moses, and said: I am the LORD.
3 And I appeared unto Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
4 also established my covenant with them, give them the land of Canaan, the land they were outsiders, and in which lived.
5 Moreover I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom they serve the Egyptians, and I have remembered my covenant.
6 Therefore say unto the children of Israel: I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of Egypt, and will deliver you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments;

(Exodus 6: 1-6)

1 The Lord said to Moses, Behold, I make you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.
2 Thou shalt speak all that I command you and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, to let go of their land to the children of Israel.
3 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply in the land of Egypt my signs and wonders.
4 Pharaoh will not listen to you, but I put my hand on Egypt and bring my hosts, my people the children of Israel, the land of Egypt by great judgments.
(Exodus 7: 1-4)
LORD said
1 Moses, Come up unto the Lord, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and ye afar off.
2 but Moses alone is closer to the Lord, and they do not approach, nor the people go up with him. (...)
12 Then the LORD said to Moses: Come up to me to mount, and be there, and I will give thee tables of stone, and the law, and commandments which I have written to teach.
13 And Moses rose with his servant Joshua, and Moses went up the mountain of God.
14 And he said to the elders, Tarry here until we get back to you, and behold Aaron and Hur are with you, he who has issues, see them.
15 Then Moses went up the mountain and a cloud covered the mountain.
16 And the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called to Moses from the midst of the cloud.
17 And the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like devouring fire on the mountaintop, in the eyes of the children of Israel.
18 And Moses went into the cloud, and ascended the mountain, and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

(Exodus 24: 1-2, 12-18)

27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words, because under these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
28 And he was there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights he neither ate bread nor drank water, and wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.
29 And it came to Moses descending from Mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in his hand, descending the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with God.
30 And Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to approach him.
(Exodus 34: 27-30)

Several passages Bible where Moses is intimate and powerful encounters with God, it was an indescribable passion for the presence of God. "And I appeared unto Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them." Does this mean that Moses met fully their presence and spoke face to face with God.

God also said several of his servants, established covenant with David and he was a great admirer of his name were all authors of several books of the Bible received grace and God's revelation, prophecies and commandments established , and glorified through his servants, Isaiah Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Zechariah, Malachi, among others, led by the Spirit were wise men, were passionate about their presence and feared him.

Psalm of Asaph:
(...)
25 Whom I have I in heaven but you?
and having you I desire nothing on earth.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
the rock of my heart and my portion is Him forever.
(Psalm 73: 25-26)

NOT DO THE FAST AND THE WORSHIP, SACRIFICES, because God does not like that kind of sacrifice.

TO LOOK FOR THE PRESENCE OF GOD WITH THE ANXIETY WITH SAME WATER THAT WHEN YOU NEED THESE WHEN YOU ARE THIRSTY AND HUNGRY FOOD, AND EXPRESSING THE SAME JOY AND HAPPINESS YOU FEEL WHEN YOU ARE FILLED.

ENCOURAGES SPIRIT WHO IS SEEKING THE PRESENCE OF GOD!

10 Hear, O daughter, and see, and incline your ear;
Forget your people and your father's house;
11 And the king greatly desire your beauty;
and worship him because he is your sir.

(Psalm 45: 10-11)

In this song, the word daughter refers to the Church, because we are urged to seek the presence of God and we desire for Him want.

... WHY NOT HAVE A PASSION FOR THE PRESENCE OF GOD, IF YOUR SPIRIT yearns jealously? ...

5 Or think ye that the Scripture says in vain, The spirit that he dwells in us yearns jealously?
(James 4:5)
