There are thousands of pages containing Java and need to use the Sun, which still is not free, :-(, it is very easy to get Java to work in our Ubuntu, having done what repositories (already added multiverse and universe) we just have to put the following into the console and presto:
$ sudo update-alternatives - set java / usr / lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-sun/jre/bin/java
